    Steel Bender Brewyard, a local brewery located at 8305 2nd St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114.  A deep-rooted part of Albuquerque is dedicated to producing excellent craft beer that meets the thirsts and discriminating tastes of their loyal consumers. Steel Bender not only brews high-quality craft beers but their always evolving specials push the envelope and elevate the bar. They package a wide range of styles and distribute them around the state of New Mexico. 

Steel Bender Brewyard was founded in 2017 by three brothers, Ethan, Chris, and Greg Chant, and their families in the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico, a lively agricultural town nestled in the center of the North Valley. Steel Bender Brewyard has rapidly become a hot destination in the Albuquerque region. With its vast choice of expertly created beers and ciders that are unique and approachable, giving a style for every beer drinker, and it's a wonderfully built public house/pub.


The Chant siblings have been building projects since about the late 1990s, and their grandpa, Lloyd Chant, who worked for Hunting Electric in the 1930s, was an admiration. Lloyd Chant and other builders and artisans built improvised distilleries for their use during Prohibition. Steel Bender Brewyard was named after Ethan, Chris, and Greg. A steel bender is a term for a steel press that twists and manipulates steel. These brewers are bale to manipulate malted barley to craft amazing beer just like construction crews would bend steel!


Steel Bender provides various rotating seasonals, sours, barrel-aged beers, and ciders in addition to the nine house beers on tap, producing a well-rounded portfolio that appeals to most beer aficionados. Head Brewer Bob Haggerty, who formerly brewed in Main and locally at La Cumbre Brewing Co. and Ponderosa Brewing Co., is continuing to create a name for himself at Steel Bender, where his brews are quickly becoming local favorites. Visitors to the brewery may also enjoy award-winning Chef Jason Baczkiewicz's daily pub cuisine. The food is transitional Albuquerque grub. Whether you’re looking for a green chili burger or a smoked rib sandwich, either will be quenched perfectly with one of the house beers made right in the shop!
